A radiologist's eyes are on the images and the hand is usually on the PACS mouse. Switching to another window to find a button for the report costs time and attention. That is why Raporio is built to work hands-free: recording, pausing and copying are done with shortcuts or the buttons on your dictation device.

Three shortcuts are enough

KeyWhat it does
F2Starts dictation; press again to stop and create the report
F3Pauses and resumes recording
F4Copies the report to the clipboard, ready to paste into PACS/RIS

Shortcuts also work while the cursor is in the report, so you do not go back to the mouse to start recording while editing.

Start with F2, stop with F2, copy with F4.

Dictation devices: SpeechMike and foot pedals

USB dictation microphones such as the Philips SpeechMike and foot pedals work directly with Raporio. Pairing is done once:

  1. 1Plug in the device and open Raporio in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2Choose to connect a device in the dictation help window.
  3. 3For each function (start/stop, pause, copy), press the button you want to use on the device.

If your device's own software already sends a keyboard shortcut (for example F2) when a button is pressed, no pairing is needed at all; Raporio recognises the shortcut directly.

Opening templates by voice

In Turkish dictation you can start a recording with a template's name ("Diz MR şablonunu aç") and Raporio loads it before placing the finding. In other languages you currently choose the template with a click.

Editing by voice

Once the report is ready, you can still correct it without the keyboard: "rewrite the last sentence" or "write cyst instead of nodule". Commands are not written into the report. More in dictation mode.
